Biography:

David runs the Grand County office of Gelman & Norberg. He has lived there with his wife, Meara, and two children, Sage and Asher, for the past six years.

David’s practice areas include real estate, corporate, construction and contracts as well as medical marijuana, criminal and traffic issues.

David specializes in real estate law and development and has appeared before numerous planning commissions and Town Boards all over Colorado. He offers legal guidance in acquiring, entitling, holding, selling and/or leasing property.

David has intimate knowledge of the construction process, representing owners, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers in forming and reviewing their contracts and enforcing their rights in construction related disputes.

Most of all, David prefers to act as general counsel for small to medium size businesses, gain intimate knowledge of their operations, and assist them when they need legal advice for both major issues and day-to-day operations.

David is up on all of the recent changes to the law affecting medical marijuana, and represents a number of medical marijuana centers, assisting them in compliance with this fluid, evolving area of law.

David has spoken on real estate, construction, environmental, water rights and other numerous legal issues and is willing to do so upon request.
